Members of the AICA faculty are selected on the basis of their academic credentials as well as their dedication to our stated goals for a Christian education. Each member of the faculty and staff has completed a college or graduate level teacher preparation program. Each teacher has also expressed a desire to serve God through teaching in a Christian school and has made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.



Mrs. Deborah Perez, Lower School

Deborah graded from Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic CT with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and History/Social Sciences. She went on and completed her Master of Arts in Teaching from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield CT.

Deborah teaches our Kindergarten class.

Mrs. Christine Listenberger, Lower School

Christine earned a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.

Christine teaches 1st and 2nd Grade and serves as the advisor for our Yearbook class.

Miss Renee Olsen, Lower School

Renee earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Liberal Arts from Rhode Island College in Providence, RI.

Renee teaches our 5th and 6th grade students.


Mr. Josiah Weekley, Upper School

Josiah earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, VA.

Josiah teaches Latin, History, Biblical Studies, and Logic in our upper school.

Mrs. Andrea Weekley, Upper School

Andrea graduated from Providence College in Providence, RI with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in music.

Andrea teaches Literature, Rhetoric, Drama and Algebra in our upper school.


Mr. John Price, Upper School

John earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of South Florida in Tampa as well as his Master of Arts from the Naval War College.

John teaches Algebra, Biology, Trigonometry, and Pre-calculus.

Mr. Zachary Maxcey, Upper School and Lower School

Zachary earned a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences from the United States Military Academy, West Point and a Master of Divinity from Providence Theological Seminary.

Zachary teaches Greek and Political Philosophy in our upper school as well as our Grade 3 and 4 classroom. 


Mrs. Karen Casieri, Secretary 

Karen earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Stonehill College in North Easton, MA.

Karen’s responsibilities include Front Desk Reception, and Secretary to the Headmaster.

Joshua earned a BA in Religious Studies and Philosophy from Northwestern College and an MA in Jewish Studies from Hebrew College.

Joshua teaches Systematic Theology, Christian Apologetics, and Biblical Hermeneutics.
